Church Visits |

Today the Micklegate Outer Policing team were pleased to attended Church at St Chads on Campleshon road and then St Clements church on Scarcroft road in York. Our presence in Church is not only about visibility, but about connection and being a point of contact in the community. Places of worship play an important role in bringing people together, offering support, and strengthening the values that help communities thrive. By attending events like this we aim to listen, to learn, and to build relationships based on trust and mutual respect. Policing is most effective when it is done with the community, not just for it. Strong relationships help us work collaboratively to prevent harm, and ensure everyone feels safe and supported. We would like to thank the Church's leaders and members for their warm welcome today. We look forward to continuing to engage with all parts of our community and working together to build a safer, stronger, and more connected place for everyone. If you see us out and about, please feel free to say hello-these conversations matter | ||
